2 walleye fillets marinade:
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. ground thyme
1/4 t. red pepper flakes
salt and pepper to taste
Rinse and pat try the walleye fillets. Cut them into 2-3 pieces. In a small bowl, mix all dry and wet ingredients. Dip the fish into the marinade and place in dish, cover. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Preheat the air fryer to 380* and place the fillets on the rack, cook for 12-15 minutes, or until meat thermometer reaches 145* in the center of the fillet. Can be served as fillets or with the cooked fillets, you can break apart the fish and serve with Cilantro Lime Slaw and create Fish Tacos, serve with rice and tortilla shells.
Cilantro Lime Slaw
2 1/2c. cole slaw mix
3 T. mayo
1 T. lime juice
1 garlic clove, minced
1/3 c chopped cilantro
1/2 t. sugar
1/4 t. sea salt
1/4 t. cracked pepper
Mix together and refrigerate while fish is marinating.
